Sometimes you go through periods when everything seems to change together. This is happening to us at Callia Web this month!
We are very excited to announce that Leeann Stevenson has joined our team this week and will be working with us as a web designer and developer. She has a design degree and experience working for the IT and marketing teams of a global investment bank on their internal and external websites. Having taken a short break to raise a family she is looking forward to some new challenges and getting involved with our client projects.
We’ve undergone a redesign of our calliaweb.co.uk website, trying to make it clear the different services we offer without getting bogged down with too much terminology. And we’ve also given our portfolio a refresh. Taking just a few examples of our work and written them up as case studies.
Please do take a look.
We’ve also decided to remove some of the more code-heavy posts from our blog. The WordPress community is built on people sharing code and writing tutorials for others to learn. And I’ve learnt so much from others that I wanted to share the new things I discovered. But I was aware that the Callia Web blog had a split personality offering posts that would be of interest to developers and posts of interest to our clients. And probably not serving either well.
So we’ve launched jowaltham.com and I will be writing the code posts over there. If you pop over to jowaltham.com you’ll see we’ve implemented the very stylish Whitespace Pro theme by StudioPress.
Please do subscribe if you wish 🙂
Our last piece of news is that at the end of the month we are moving into a new office in Marlborough, Wiltshire. The offices are being built as I write so the date isn’t yet confirmed but will hopefully be the 24th. We’re looking forward to having a space for meeting clients and being able to run client tutorials from there for any clients who are in the area or are willing to travel.
We may even organise a moving in coffee morning to celebrate! Let us know if you’d like an invite.
