Grafton Parish
Quick Launch website & Logo design
Grafton is a small but vibrant parish set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the County of Wiltshire. Their existing website had become static, difficult to manage, and out of date. Grafton needed a simple new website and a fresh new logo.
Grafton wanted their new logo to include a graphic of the countryside or their windmill, and for it to be clean and simple,
We provided a number of concepts to meet the brief, and Grafton chose a design with a windmill sitting in rolling hills.
Once the logo was completed we then created the information architecture including a sitemap, wireframes, and a simple style guide.
During the development phase, we migrated content from the old website and uploaded all the new content including some beautiful photography that inspired the website’s colour palette.
As it was a Simple Website project, the layout and styling were designed around the content Grafton had provided. The process involved working within the browser for a more efficient turnaround.
Once the website was complete we provided three members of the parish with WordPress training so that they could manage their website going forward.
