We’re proud and delighted to announce Callia Web has won two awards at the Cambridgeshire Digital Awards for the work we did on the Cambridge Food Collective website. We took home Gold for Website: Lifestyle and Culture and Silver in the Website: Small Business category.
The judges were clearly impressed:
We’re always excited to see initiatives which champion local business via fresh thinking. This website is a prime example of that community spirit coupled with a clear and effective website.
It’s wonderful news for our agency, and a fantastic start for the Cambridge Food Collective.
Cambridge-based Nazima was an existing client of Callia Web and looking to start a new community venture selling locally sourced artisan food produce all under one website. We absolutely loved the concept and designed a website for her that would allow different local producers to both register and upload products, as well as a scalable e-commerce solution that fitted her delivery process.
“We had lots of positive feedback from the press and from our customers about how nice the site was to browse and how easy it was to get information and select products to buy,” says Nazima. “We are delighted that this has been recognised by the Cambridgeshire digital awards, “ she added.
The Awards Night
Leeann and I were thrilled to be invited along to the Awards Ceremony last week, and it was fantastic to finally get the chance to meet Nazima and Pierre. It was a long old journey to get there, but totally worth it as we all had such a fun evening!
We enjoyed a few glasses of fizz, a delicious dinner with live music, plus we grabbed the chance to chat to some of the sponsors too. And of course we soaked up all the excitement of the awards being announced and all the victory speeches!
You can see the moment our Gold Award was announced here, and we were all SO chuffed!

Congratulations, well deserved.
